How I collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated September 28, 2026.
This website belongs to Guillermo Miranda, a wedding photographer based in Greater Montreal, Quebec. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Guillermo Miranda. I wrote it in plain language so you know exactly what happens to your information when you visit this site, send me an inquiry or book me for your wedding.
I am the person in charge of the protection of personal information for my business. For any question or request about your information, write to me at the address below.
When you fill out the contact form, I collect the information you choose to give me: your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue or location, who referred you, and what you tell me about your wedding and what you’re looking for in a photographer.
If you book me, I also collect what I need to prepare and deliver your photos: the names and contact details in your contract, the timeline and details of your day, payment records, and of course the photos I take of you, your family and your guests.
When you simply visit the site, I don’t collect your name or contact details. This site doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn’t build a profile of you.
I use your information only to reply to your inquiry and send you my availability and pricing guide, to prepare your contract, plan your day and deliver your photos, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
I don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information, and I don’t add you to a mailing list.
With your permission, which we agree on in your contract, I may show some of your photos in my portfolio, on this website, on Instagram or in my articles. You can withdraw that permission at any time: write to me and I’ll remove the photos from the places I control.
I only share your information with the service providers I need to run my business, and only for that purpose: Webflow, which hosts this website and stores form messages; my email provider, which receives your messages; and the tools I use to sign contracts, receive payments and deliver your online gallery.
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when you open a page.
Some of these providers, including Webflow and Google, store data outside Quebec, mainly in the United States. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Quebec, where different privacy laws apply.
If you send an inquiry but don’t book, I keep your messages for up to two years after our last exchange, then I delete them.
If you book me, I keep your contract and payment records for as long as tax laws require, which is currently at least six years. I keep your photos as long as I need them to deliver your gallery and to give you a backup copy if you ever need one. You can ask me to delete them sooner.
Within my business, only I have access to your information. It’s kept in password-protected accounts, and I only share what each service provider needs.
If an incident ever puts your information at risk of serious harm, I’ll let you know and report it to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, as the law requires.
At any time, you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it if it’s wrong or incomplete, withdraw your consent (for example, to the use of your photos), ask me to delete information I no longer need, or ask for a copy of the information you gave me in a commonly used format.
Write to me at info@guillermomiranda.com and I’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
If I change how I handle your information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. If I ever add tools that track visits, such as analytics, I’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
